Online GMAT Test Preparation
For those who want the benefits of a GMAT prep course without sitting in a classroom, Manhattan Review's online GMAT courses offer the exact same curriculum as classroom-based courses. Lectures for the online classes cover the same material week-to-week as is covered in the classroom. Students of online courses must complete the same schedule of homework and practice exercises as classroom students. Some students choose an online course because of their schedules, or because of the distance they would have to travel to one of our 90 locations or simply because they prefer to work from home. Whatever the case, Manhattan Review firmly believes that students who cannot participate in classroom-based learning should receive preparation equally as complete as classes taught in a classroom.
Online classes are taught in real-time (live). Every effort is made to ensure that the online students can have as interactive an experience as possible without a commute. Students can use an instant messaging feature to interact with their instructors as well as with fellow classmates. Instructors can use an online polling tool to poll the class as a whole and track answers in real time. An interactive white board enables students to collaboratively solve problems from their remote locations with the instructor and with each other.
All the hard-copy study materials that classroom students are handed on the first day of class are also sent to students who take online classes. Students of online courses receive the same ten GMAT practice tests as their peers in traditional classroom courses. Online lectures run the same length and are based on the same materials as the classes taught in a classroom. Just like classroom-based courses, lectures are available online on demand after class.
